Inventory Assistant

Job Description:

Pull parts for fabrication/production; & part orders
Responsible for the delivery of items to and from storage
Receives and stock inventory items; verify the physical part exactly matches with receiving paperwork
Maintain the parts warehouse, to ensure proper storage and verification of items
Ensures a clean, safe, and organized working environment within the work area

Requirements and Qualifications:
Successful candidates will possess

Proven ability to interact with people; clear fluent use of verbal and written language to convey information and ideas
Ability to operate forklift in accordance with all safety policies and procedures is an asset
Strong paperwork and computer skills is required
Strong organizational skills; able to follow procedures & protocols as part of ISO processes
Basic understanding of inventory management
Physically strong, able to move heavy objects safely, & efficiently
Knowledge of plumbing &/or electrical component is an asset
Experience in a manufacturing environment
